A Poem by Periac
"

moonchild

"
their defiance filled the melody that brought each thrust
their anger sparked a passion
a bolt of lightning from the fury
when daybreak warms the wisp hides
beg the mercy in my heart
to not truckle to the demands of the flesh

what a war
