erupted

erupted

A Poem by Periac

erupted with brighter eyes

by ordained weak rain we challenged taboo

her legs became a falcon's wings

extending out to produce flight

but soon after night became day

flight became fallen

truth turned to lies

and I wept from the stress

petals once we carried as pillows have now become dried brittle browns

and I'm literally frostbitten

writing beneath wet tears

cold

and the days were explained to me another way

one dressed and pruned perfect with words of love and revelation

suddenly painted over with darkening skies and even darker eyes

up and down

up and down

sick
