Embodiment of Justice

Embodiment of Justice

A Poem by Benjamin

Each step he takes

shakes, the ground breaks.

From the east he approaches,

encroaches, like a

creeping blight that kills

sight, and a scream shrills from

The town of rust, a shanty

full of lust and greed,

drinks its mead and thinks

it safe to lead this life;

until this man arrives

they remain in blissful

Ignorance is his name,

the same told in stories,

he will mold and shoulder

the inhabitance upon his back,

show them what they lack until

they remember and leave.

I love the internal rhyme!
"show them what they lack until
they remember and leave."
Those are my favorite lines. Good job! :)
