Lazer Antz

Lazer Antz

A Poem by perfectlyadapted
"

tiny forces within the earth

"
Feeling two centi small
they crawl with fragile limbs
from the depths of the Earth
Their birthing rights
the brown dirt and the red eyes
burning holes to maneuver
never found an insect truer
to its twisting roots
Beams brighter than the midday sun
hurts more than a fiery tongue spitting
with anger at an oblivious stranger
stranger still are these tiny creatures
yet to be featured in National Geographic
It is only a matter of time their drilling tactics
are discovered by scientists with giant glasses and microscopes
