My MuseA Poem by Landomeh
I close my eyes but to see it clearer,
My dream, my Muse; that which cannot be mine. The thoughts I have of when we were nearer, Memories suffice 'til I can opine. My soul can sense her presence when nearby, My mind awaits the day I can claim her. My forlorn heart can do naught but cry, My eyes filled with tears make the world a blur. I say "nay" that she did stealeth my heart, All of me to her is freely given. To none other shall my feelings depart, Will love her 'til my body be riven. © 2015 Lando |
