Life is made of gifts that Gift begat

When love ablaze embraced emptiness

Light awoke the latent universe

Shining upon the birth of humankind

 

Life dwells in dreams of innocence

Glides on the wings of butterflies

Dancing to the rhythm of a breeze

Silence is its language to the heart

 

Life shines in the eyes of a babe

Cuddled in the arms of a grandma

It is aglow in a lover’s gaze

Piercing through bounds of time and space

 

Life does not partake in trivial games

Governing the existence of the dead

Who credit value just to loss and gain

Blindly playing, oblivious to the aim

 

Life does not know address or name

Seeks neither riches nor worldly fame

Giving without condition is its style

Friendship is its trade, its coin is a smile.
