Daylight

Daylight

A Poem by D.L. Simmons
"

stream-of-consciousness

"

Moon, why are you in the sky

In the middle of the day?

Sun, why can’t I see you

When it’s bright enough to play

With words

And toy with endless rhymes?

This is a great short piece. Very well done. I love the idea of how these words flow together. THe question of the moon and sun throughout the day are just lovely.

Nice work!

I agree with Over the Wall.. this is good as is, but has the ability to really flower..
I love those thoughts that just pop in from no where..
