Skin Deep

Skin Deep

A Poem by Penulis Kecil
"

Working through some stuff again...

"

II

And when there is

nothing

else

left to do

you whisper

through the gaps of your soul,

mouthing lyrics that mean

everything you never thought

you

should say.

I

All the splinters

digging,

stabbing past the epidermis

can't tell you who you are

so you look deeper

but there is

nothing

there to see -

somewhere along the way

your subcutaneous layer

burned away.

I liked that this was off beat. You talk well about emotions, that sense of emptiness in people when there is very little under the surface- heart- breaking really ;)

I feeling like that ...so much happening so much to balance and learn...karma is just learning...
