tired lines

tired lines

A Poem by Penulis Kecil
"

Another piece both about, and for, my miscarried child.

"
somewhere in the tired lines
"it's okay"
"it's okay"
"it's okay"
I can pretend I find you

five years ago, I
prepared my body
now I prepare no-
thing but another
lonely goodbye

you're not here

letters and words and tired lines
"it's okay"
"it's okay"
"it's okay"
are all that is left to me

you're not here

music plays, it's
all there is and
somewhere in
the tired lines
I've heard it all
before, too too
too many times

you're not here

somewhere in the tired lines
"it's okay"
"it's okay"
"it's okay"
I pretend I find you

but you're not here
you're slipping away
with every tired line
and I just want to
make it all different

buried under tired lines
it's really not okay

you're still not here

Your pain is tangible and understandable. So many medics and others say it's ok you can try again. They do not feel the bond you felt However Nature sometimes decides it is for the best not to carry to term a child who will be handicapped
