on walls

on walls

A Poem by Penulis Kecil
"

Everybody has their own walls, their own prisons...

"
not walls that move and shape
nor walls that cannot be seen
nor walls on wheels
are less a prison
and behind the closed eyes
(closed eyes and blank faces)
i know there must be something
some rememberance of meaning

all it takes to make a prison
are walls

I liked your use of parenthesis, at first it reminded me of Walt Whitman but you've made them your own. By itself this poem is already exhibiting a writing style, which is good.

You present your thoughts clearly in free form poetic prose. Sometimes the walls we build in self defence imprison us more securely that stone wallss
