after divorce

Wrote this one when I found out my ex' new girlfriend was pregnant.

i moved home
trying to get myself
organised
my mother in the other room,
keeps calling out
every two minutes:
does this? and,
did that? and,
have you? and,
everything else she wants to know
right now

but you?
you moved out,
moved on, borrowed money
traded your car for a bike
bought a house with someone else
and you are getting married
to someone who isn't me
and she is carrying
your child
in a way that i couldn't manage

. we punish ourselves for far too many things that are beyond our control ... it's sad that sensitive souls are in a minority and we have to bear it all ... and all the time ... ah! ... i'm so tired of what things are coming to ... it's so sad ...
