Love Poem

Love Poem

A Poem by Penjamin Hearst

White in all the right places,
Sitting across the room,
Brightening all the dark spaces,
Replacing the cracks of gloom.

I am always becoming,
I show my face to a few,
Mostly people keep guessing,
because I like to keep them glued.

Every year add a ring to my trunk,
Each moment I become a new punk,
Deliberately reinventing my wheel,
No need for me to conceal.

Then end it never comes,
The dance persists forever,
Witnessing, witnessing, witnessing,
Over and over again.

Resolutions form inside my heart,
I take on a new dimension,
A sweet revenge game is forming,
One built entirely from the passions.

Let deep insights flow into me,
Along with the tides of the goa,
Let everything become this self I see,
That my dreams may take on new life.

Really the time is just now,
I make all my promises now,
To this self I will care for you,
And spread the happiness to all.

I need you on a plate,
Dark miss sitting at the table,
This torrential current is to persuade you
To make for yourself a deep pleasure.

I knew you would do it,
I knew your wishes,
I knew you couldn't resist,
This spell I cast on you persists,
Until the end of time,
No escape for you....
