Paranoid

 I used to text my significant other asking her when she will be free?

Then she said, her mother is at home and will call me later.

This was the last of her messages.

I became worried as to whether her husband had found out.

I deleted my messages to her.

I became paranoid that the police will catch me.

Every vehicle approaching on the road, I surmise it to the police happening to catch me.

Today I saw a large crowd of police and fear overcame me.

I asked a bystander why there is so much police?

He said: ‘there is a political rally’.

In my mind, I am so afraid and fearful.

Then I again on the computer screen, it blipped: ‘you are under cyber surveillance’

So, I decided to stop watching porn.

Dialogues

I have finished writing a novel and I need money to publish it. I thought of approaching my affluent cousin settled om Hong Kong.

When I phoned him: he said he is out and will call me later.

He asked his mother, my aunt about whether he should help me.

His mother rang up my wife and my wife said: what I write is trash.

The sad plight of the story is, he never called.

I feel so sad and discouraged.
