Morning

Morning

A Chapter by Elsie

What is "morning" when all you see is darkness. When the sun is shining and you can feel the warmth from the sun yet you only see darkness. Walking through your town all  you ever see is darkness.
You then realize why you see darkness. That the world is a cold, cruel, and harsh just ready to knock you on your butt when your not looking. Once your knocked on to your butt you look around trying to find out who pushed you down. But you see that no one is close enough to do such a thing.
You look around and see you are truly alone in this darkness that will very soon engulfing you. Why should you care though is all you have ever known is darkness ever since the first event hit.
You try to get off the ground a keep walking through the darkness, but something keeps push you down. It almost like someone or something is holding you down and refuses to let you gt up. You know you need to get up and go home or your family will worry about you. So you fight harder, but it doesn't work.
That was when you hear a very faint whisper saying what family? You don't have a family. You have people who pretend to be your family. Your own family you had is now a pile of ash. He even took your soul and life with him. Now your alone and to face this darkness. Let fate take it course no sense fighting it.
It was then you realize that whisper is telling you the truth. It's like you knew it all the time. It's at this point you stop fighting. You feel yourself picked up and thrown into the street. You hear a car coming but you don't move.
The car comes to a quick stop and a person get out. You see maybe just maybe there is hope for you after all.
