Stardust Too

Stardust Too

A Poem by Pendantry
"

An elegy, in memory of souls gone but not forgotten.

"
Torn from us. No more

the steady lighthouse on the shore;
and yet the light will ever shine
remembering your smile
and your laughter
and the joy,
the happiness
that trails in your wake
as if scampering to keep up.

Your light has faded into night;
yet it remains,
burning brightly
in the hearts of all who love you.

Those stars that died to give us life
demand no less of us.
In time,
you shall be
torn from us, no more.
