INSIDE MYSELF

INSIDE MYSELF

A Poem by penchantpoet

You take me through a doorway
inside myself,
where I have never been.
A long languishing journey
Discovering
the better parts -
Ones that only God has seen.

I run for cover, I stand alone.
Sometimes, it's just 'You'
I wish to own.
Not for my growth, but through this pain.
Knowing -
that you have brought me home
again...
