* I cannot do this

-Have you tried?

*No

-Then let’s start

I’ll help you

Give me your hand

* No.

I’ll give you my heart

-A heart is just a sometime thing

You need a steady hand

* No

I’ll give you my will

-Well, that’s a start

It rules your hand and guides your heart

* I’m afraid

-Yes. I know

That’s why I’m here

To move you forward, to conquer your fear

*How do I know from whence you come?

-Ahh A smart question from your head not your heart

You will know me by faith, hope and love

* I cannot know you any other way?

- What other way is there that would touch every part of your being?

Come. Walk with me. I’ll show you the way.

*I don’t have time. I’m busy.

-All you have is time

* I’m not ready

-Oh, but you are or we’d not be having this dialogue.

*There are things I need to finish.

- More important, there are things you need to start.

Step out, step up. Take your rightful place.

* Please. Be patient. At least show me your face.

-Look in your mirror and you will see all living things contain a part of me. Now, will you or won’t you follow this winding path,

Now rising, now twisting. Will you take my hand? Will you come with me?

* I don’t understand. My feet begin to follow, one step at a time. And now I can’t distinguish between your footsteps and mine.
