Time

Time

A Poem by Paige

Time sends chills up and down my spine,
Like a xylophone is playing along the bones of my back,
Its constant motion forward,
You can never rewind time,
Because it keeps on running,
Leaving you in the dust,
Some people finish the race as fast as they can,
whether they are first or last,
Some people break down and succumb to losing the race,
Never finishing the race

A gift for words.
I hope you will share more of your gift with us, dear poet.

Time -- it's what you do with it that counts. Having a little trouble with line "It's permanence." Do you mean time is permanent -- it certainly is a constant.

A thought-full writing. So many wonder the starts and each pause.
