Envy

Envy

A Poem by Jasmine

I envy her, For she stole everything I'd ever loved
She stole my home, She stole him, My one and only love
She was "pretty", She was "funny", She was "sweet"
But she was a fool
I was all of those things, A fool to think in the end I'd be the only one
When things got hard she decided to wiggle her way into things, a homewrecker
I had always known he liked her, He called me crazy
She said was "just a friend" what a classic line
I guess that's what hurt the most, being made to feel crazy
I finally broke due to a shredded heart
He ran to her, So always,
I will envy her
