The Ruined Life of the Fairyhunter's DaughterA Poem by AmandaThe wind howled, the house was dark and all she could think about was her life falling apart.
Her boyfriend left her. Her parents divorced. and on top of all that, She'd been graced with a curse.
She can picture her now, That dung of a fairy Light pink and Sparkly That has made her so harried.
Her wings, how they shimmered, Translucent and blue. that flittered and fluttered, causing her to lose Lou.
Oh Lou! How she missed him, his eyes smiling and warm. and now here she was without him, in this stink of a dorm.
That bloody fairy, with her glittering wand. How dare she show up like that, Uninvited, unwelcome, and blonde!
"Say, my mother was blonde, and caring and smart" thout the poor girl sadly, holding her heavy heart.
That inevitable fairy, her lips purple and plump. The girl should've seen her coming, Dad warned her more than once.
Her father was loyal, loving and strong. Only the fairy could cause it all to go wrong. © 2012 AmandaAuthor's Note
