Pedetentous Plodding

Pedetentous Plodding

A Poem by Incindie M. Coeur

these

cunning conundrums
you
thoughtlessly throw
at
my misinterpreted mannerisms
ends us...until tomorrow.

but my
heightening heartbeat
must
cultivate clues
to
let lovers like
you
to typically taunt
my madding mind.

for
dwindling daily
and
deeply deciphering
your
delicate dares,
i
contemplate carefully
your
sensuous stares.

and
all around
us
people point, "perfect pair"
like
sunny & cher
or
honey bees & pooh bear.

now, i dare you;
look for me one more time,
but
plod pedetentously--
don't act like you care.

i won't be there.

Some people move very very slowly; their motivations may easily be misconstrued. Yet such a pair may compliment each other and achieve a balance, the impulsive slowed by the constrained.

Nice write! charly

I love the flow and fragments of this.

In the second stanza in the line "my madding mind" I suppose you meant "maddening" Good work.
