Your Place

Your Place

A Poem by Incindie M. Coeur

chills run down my spine

please

let your soul entwine

with mine

i want you to know

that this is not meerly for show

for you

and i

fly

upon our first glance

our stance

we had the chance

and i let you

my secret is out

i want you.

and this is all like a dream to me

i feel free

for i never thought that i would be

could be

like this,  with anyone.

i had always thought

that my foolish ways

those games people play

the way we form our vowels

our sounds

our mouths

our lips.

were not for me

but as you see

you and i, are we

so please

don't you see that

when my heart is in your hands

it is at ease.

so let your soul entwine with mine

at times we've stumbled, but now it's fine.

and let our minds

and our souls in time

grow vines across old paths

seal up

a rip and a tear,

for you, my love, my dear sweet love

your place in my heart, i forever bear.
