a moment in the sun

a moment in the sun

A Poem by Paige-Louise JessicaBunny

speeding in the dark dismal morning

up a road that seems to never end, indulged with turns, twirls, flowers and grass

i am fixed to the window

dropplets of the sky merging together, combining paths trickle their journey down, down, down

the sky is a dark dark grey, almost black

peoples expressions are negative and angry

as they hurry through the shower that seems to always cause bad manners.

the trees wilt

each blade of grass entwines and cuddles the blades next to each other

and together, they suffer in the wind and cry in the rain

a short moment hits

the heavens break

light catches mine eye

i look up  into the golden rays,

they shine through the rain drops turning them to crystal

the trees suddenly look alive and happy

the grass glistens and twinkles,

like stars in the soil but a brilliant green

people hurrying slow and swirv towards the light patches

i smile from a moment in the sun.

then it goes.

Sounds London :) Love it. And I love your perspective on even the smallest things ^_^
