Why are we here?

the shape of this poem is important

Why are we here?

we are here.

we just

exist.

no more,

and nothing less.

there has got to be more.

when I look hard,

all I see

is just

existing.

then there is love.

if you are not strong in your heart,

when you are hungry,and when you are cold,

love will come second.

so if you live love,

you should just know,

to be happy you've got it,

and don't ever let go

cause if you do,

you will

just

exist.

sadly a whole lot of people do just exist. living vicariously the life of some soap star or celebrity.
