Irreparable

Irreparable

A Poem by Jamie Beals

We can't go back, that bridge is burned,
Sad how it took this turn.
Both of us are at fault,
This friendship coming to a halt.
Empty promises full of lies,
Blinders on these trusting eyes.
Chambers closed and shut tight,
No longer reason to fight.
Attempted to repaid damage within,
Walking on ice that's already thin.
Too much pain to have to let go,
Truth behind we reap what we sow.
