premonitions (post-halloween)

premonitions (post-halloween)

A Poem by skye

wake up,

needle,

i.v.

a kid with no identity.

found on the sidewalk,

half dead,

slashed wrist,

sleeping pills were a best friend,

just as anyone had guessed.

I have to say I know the feeling, the image, the "premonition"...Its hard to know what to say, in situations such as this, when you know exactly how to relate to another person, in such a self destructive way.
I tell myself to keep going, one day at a time...Just one more day. It makes it feel like less of a burden. Keep moving forward, put one foot in front of the other, and know that there are those that feel your pain.

wow! I absolutely love the dark feeling! I hope that does not happen to you though.

.
. it won't ... i can bet that it won't ... if you keep writing about it ... and keep taking it out ... by writing such amazing poetry ... get into as many arts as you can ... then it won't happen ... guaranteed ...

you've defined ultraculture of the lost deeply submerged in the pain ~
each generation faces the test of identity and forward volition in different ways~ but the heart hurts just the same throughout a thousand years~
