The Final Break Up Story

The Final Break Up Story

A Poem by paulina misiewicz
"

....based on true events ;)

"

Oh, how dare you laugh at my face,

when I'm about to throw you out?

Kick your clothes out of the window, embrace

the lack of stinking socks around.

The plan seemed so ferocious yesterday,

And I was buzzing like a power plant. To be honest

I pictured you covered in tears and clay,

and homeless, or at least, wearing a ripped vest.

But here you are now, eating my pizza

Hawaiian, and instead of packing, I only hear gulping.

At the breaking point, like the tower in Pisa

I am. I hope you choke on your smirking.

So I flush the ring down the toilet, follows the bag

of good laugh. You die inside. Oh! Excuse me

isn't this how you've imagined the hag?

Now go, before, like the last time, we agree to disagree.

Bada bip bada boom. I dont know if many can appreciate the way this poem throws it's weight around, tossing the eye and the brain like a washing machine on spin dry. As my understanding of exactly how insensitive we can be grew so did laughter. I love the way the poem interspliced my hate for this man and my own past failures of similar colour, along with lessons being handed down from the high road in humorous fashion, this is the goods people.

This poem shows that love can be a double edged sword. It is not only rainbows and sunshine, for were there is light there also is darkness but love is a burden that we must carry in live. The weight can be overwhelming for some (breaking up, or being rejected) but one should just lose its weight. For we humans can choose the amounts of love. I like your poem.

Good job :D

No problem :)
A clever poem I'm in two minds, one you are talking to yourself about the breakup and look what you've done and the other is about your ex coming back, not going and you are in turmoil
