A Poem by Moebia

you don't need to explain
when we lock eyes
in the crowded halls
or the lonely sidewalk
how you're sorry
for choosing her
soft skin, green eyes
you don't need to tell me
that my brown eyes
weren't enough for you.
you don't need to
face your truths.
i'll let you go on
as the newly made man
you make yourself seem.
our kisses were nothing anyway
just a flutter of time
within my vast emptiness
i always think about you
when im getting high
about the spot on your left eye
and i wonder if she loves it
as much as i do
your colors were too dark for me.

About
I am no writer of the sort. These are my musings, my arts, my flutters of thought. Call them what you may--but a poet is not anything that I am. I have been immersed in my violin for nearly a deca.. more..
