what you have done to me

what you have done to me

A Poem by Moebia
"

.

"

what you have done to me

so effortlessly,

it never bothered you.

you have ravaged my skull

allowed my thoughts to

fly.

then you lured me in,

with a trap so vicious and

beautiful, how could I

resist

when you looked at me

with your eyes

and let our skin meet

acquaintances to soon be friends,

friends to be lovers

and lovers to break

or should I say I am broken?

you seem just fine.

you took my love

and spit it out

then ate your next meal

you broke my spirit

once a smiling idiot

to a much wiser sullen

woman

no, I am no longer a girl

you took that from me too

you stripped me bare of myself

destroyed my quirks,

let my own strange fears

and aspirations

burn in the fire.

you took paula away from paula

but you never set me free

I am no writer of the sort. These are my musings, my arts, my flutters of thought. Call them what you may--but a poet is not anything that I am. I have been immersed in my violin for nearly a deca.. more..
