WarmthA Poem by MoebiaI love you.
Blue eyes and lungs
filled up with smoke The silence stings me, like a wasp in the summer Our mouths only moved to let out the smoke, as we let out our emotions long ago And this winter night staring into the pitch black, I'm wondering why you're here what you're thinking I'm starting to realize that I am the one who lingers, when you left long ago I guess nicotine and coffee are my only friends in this fight. I guess the reason I'm so stuck to you, like a magnet is The warmth, of your beating chest it keeps me warm, but you you have no warmth I've studied the masks, I know all the rules, I've mastered the games, but I can't do it for you So keep me warm, but I won't stage a theater for you, no I refuse to play I want it to stay the same, even though by tomorrow's daylight, you'll be gone like the smoke from our mouths.
