The Swallowing SeaA Poem by MoebiaThe last few minutes of a person's life.
Mayday mayday mayday
my plane is falling I'm plummeting into the sea and with a sound louder than your ears can bear, I am going to shatter like pieces of glass Fancy thinking that everything would be alright, but life is a moving film, we've all got endings just like our beginnings. And in this moment, as I'm looking at the sea, there is not a thought in my mind-- no God help me, no I love you, mom and dad no I love you, Isabel I only see the sea the pure beauty unfolding, and as I edge closer, there's not a doubt in my mind that I'm going to die. but I'm smiling as odd as it can be, because I'm thinking of this sea, of the fish that I will feed when my corpse is gently floating Perhaps my mind has disappeared like cake on a birthday, but I'll remember that when I crashed into the sea and died I was smiling.
