Story

A Poem by Moebia
"

He's got a story, too.

"

There are words pouring

from her mouth

in a torrent of lies

she calls the truth.

Hold on,

can we all stop for a second,

and look at the boy,

across the room.

He's got his own story too,

that's just as true,

and perhaps even more,

than we wish to think.

You all shake your heads,

"It's merely nonsense!"

Because what you can't prove,

you shrug away.

But can you prove that girl,

supposed poor victim?

Can you prove what happened,

that the boy is guilty?

No, you cannot prove it.

How could you even begin to think,

when you haven't heard

his story?

Grand effort...the truth of prejudgment is so often a sad expose of our own inclinations.

Nice work.

I am no writer of the sort. These are my musings, my arts, my flutters of thought. Call them what you may--but a poet is not anything that I am. I have been immersed in my violin for nearly a deca.. more..
