Don't Ask MeA Poem by MoebiaJust a little lyrics I wrote... This is a song (NOT a poem).
Don't ask me when
but ask me why. I promised that I would try and try and try. Don't ask me how but ask me when. I know what I promised, but I started again. There is a road, but not a way. There is a place, I know is safe. Where people eat, and people drink. The talk is healthy, it makes you think. Unlike this town, in which I live... When the people speak, they only b***h. But I can't walk, I can only swim. The water's gone, it's just an empty sink. I didn't want your help, but here I'm askin'. Just give me a little, to get through the day. 'Cause I know a place, where I can go. Where I can swim all I want and no one will know. And the tide reaches sky high, and the water is warm. But I only need a little, to get through the night. 'Cause I know a place, where I can go.
