For So LongA Poem by MoebiaOh, how I've loved you...Oh I've loved you for so long. I've looked into your eyes and seen the light that hides within. And for the longest time I have wanted to caress your face and call you mine. I've sat so long in my seat, pretending that I didn't care. When the truth was I notice every little thing. I notice when you don't look at me, or when you don't say hello. I notice when you look at her from across the room and smile. And I especially noticed, when you laughed and shook your head, and said "I love you!" When I know that you were only joking. How badly I wanted to believe your words. But I know in doing so, I'd be stabbing the hand that holds me up to stand. Oh I've loved you for so long, and I know the truth is, you don't feel the same. © 2013 Moebia |
