Death

Death

A Poem by Moebia
"

Sweet, sweet death.

"

O' sweet death,

Come to me,

Like a daughter

in the arms

of her mother.

Engulf me in your darkness,

throw me to the flames.

I want to see

where this

all

ends.

O' sweet death,

cessation of my body,

you hold my lungs-

breathless,

and allow me

to sleep.

Take me under your

dark wings,

show me the way

it

all

ends.

O' sweet death,

I ask you...

I must know,

what is truly

pain?

For a broken bone

or a cut throat,

is hardly a pat

on the dark shoulders

of death.

I am no writer of the sort. These are my musings, my arts, my flutters of thought. Call them what you may--but a poet is not anything that I am. I have been immersed in my violin for nearly a deca.. more..
