madness in

madness in

A Poem by paul

beach waiting
for waves

to orchestrate

like a sand grain
or a star

and out at night
and in the day

madness always
in the way

of what lies

beneath the sea.

madness in
my veins at night

and  in the day there's
too much light

madness in the night.

I just had to come back to this, Paul. You are a genius beyond compare. You are divine - the most profound human creation. You are the dream human of every God. I am blessed to read you, to learn from you, and to celebrate your gift. You are a hero, possibly the greatest I have ever known.

Madness does obstruct so many wonderful ways in which sanity can express itself. These maddening waves are intimidating and overwhelming. You detail the thought impeccably in your words. They are so true.

Spot on, Paul. I love that this is a bit longer than your usual pieces and still maintains your signature brevity. I know exactly what you mean ... night and day have their own terrors.
