ocd

ocd

A Poem by paul

madness
clouds my mind

unlike the stars
that speckle
the night sky

infinities can't
stop counting

like ocd

There are countless times that I've wondered about the clock ticking and time just running out of time. Your words have the perfect image of the limitless moments of isolation - while waiting for isolation to end.

I have ocd as well, and this is perfect that last 3 lines. really bring out the way we all are.

Sounds like one who knows." Infinities can't stop counting." Truth and sorrow

Brevity at its finest. I love your single serving style... but you know that. I also love how you seem to draw inspiration from the sky, particularly the night sky. You're so right, too... about infinities being unable to just stop somewhere. Anywhere.

count from the center outward along the second hand~ it's a trippy trip like a girl on wallpaper with ocd fingertips a drumming patterns into sheetrock~ =)~

I find myself counting, sometimes, I haven't gotten to infinities yet, I always lose my way . . . but one day,

maybe . . .
