to die

to die

A Poem by paul

skies
unending lies

infinities die.

skies stretched taut

it's a small world
to die in.

Sad but true...

dying doesn't require much space :)...

someone was talking about the size of the world the other day, and I mentioned the ant, how small we think his universe is, and how well it fits his own height.

I find that infities change, my room alternates between being way too large for little me, and way too small for gigantic me. It depends on how I'm seeing. I have it on good authority that our world doesn't change too much.

existence is a tiny bliss
considering the big, black, stretching cosmos out there
with most of it just
empty spaces..

so it goes ...

- ah! - it's a small world - to die in - just heartbreakingly sad - sad and fragile and beautiful! - living doesn't fit into the bigness of the world - and so dying gets snipped at the edges -

again you do wonders with very less words.
