huddle

huddle

A Poem by paul

raindrops lost
in the wind

infinities count
their blessings

the city huddles
against the storm

yeah
and we wait
for storms to leave
we wait for relief
countless times
cringing cities can only cringe
cringing cities can't fight storms
blessings are a blessing
for we can count them
while we wait for storms to pass
else we'd have nothing to count
and nothing to count on

brevity is mighty here.. compact imagery that promotes a hidden feeling..
