A Poem by paul

holding thoughts
like holding
 my breathe

shutting off
a waterfall

skies
empty
of clouds

suns abandoned

We can only hold our breathe for so long before we gasp harshly for fresh air. Our thoughts are much the same. If one does not speak their mind then there mind will find a way to break free to express. Good comparisons in this poem and deep in thought.

. ah, overwhelming that is, dear coach ... why are we so afraid of a word spill ? ... i wonder ... but never could i have expressed silence so brilliantly and in 6 words ... you're the emperor of poetic precision ... and "shutting off a waterfall" ... ah, you have so much to say yet the imposed silence ... and what good are "skies empty of clouds" ... it's like a poet empty of words ... this is so stark and profound ... slices and shreds the soul ... and yes, the suns have been abandoned ... and that's why the universe is afraid to shine ... like you said once ... you are too sublime ... why don't they make more poets like you any more ? ... your poetry is embossed on my soul ... and shall always stay there ... always ...
