A Poem by paul

still air conspiring
to be wind

conspiring like the nighttime
to eliminate the day

conspiring like the nighttime
when the wind is away

I love this. I love the clean, crisp images and the way it says just enough without overstaying its welcome. It's just one, perfect thought.

the sky is sullen
and the stars all quiet -
a new wind
was just born
and a new day
already on its way.

cycles and circles.

well balanced write...loved the ending where the beginning began....an easy read...read it three times until the birds flew away with my mind ;)

. oh ... i think the wind has no wind of these lovely pearls of wind poems that you find in the oyster of your heart ... else ... it would start writing poems to thank you ...

My title suggestion here would be: dead calm

This write provokes quite some dark feelings, but nonetheless longing for wind and for the sun...
Well done.
