. beautiful ... "leftover dreams search for dreamers" ... life is indeed a deserted desert ... turning it into something else is a magician's job ... not all of us ... at all times ... feel upto it ... this is just such a profound expression of human vulnerability and susceptibility ... exquisite poetry ...
like the title says it's really rare to find such a piece.. unique and interesting... liked the way you personified wind... the flow of poem is also good. keep writing :)
your words really do float in the dark - like fireflies - they illuminate alleys that are otherwise too frightening to express - "rare as an answer to the wind's madness" - yes, that's how rare - are angels - you weave such detailed, crafted images - some images we, perhaps, have seen - but can never express - some images that you just grab out of thin air and we're drawn into them - like entering a hitherto unknown corridor - one that mesmerizes and captivates - and that biting isolation that you end with - "rare as love around here" - that just tears the heart apart - this is a rarely extraordinary piece - thank you for bringing it to your readers (and fans - i'm one of them too - like serah - :D)
. i just read your words again ... and this is just such a beautiful ode to the word rare ... the skill that it must take ... to make brevity your slave ... and express as precisely as you do, paul ... is just awe-inspiring ... am proud to be your fan ... one of the top 5 ...

really nice emphasis, the dream, abstract, the automobile with wings
gives this a retro feeling, and the poem itself a flashback in imagery,
great job, keep it up.
yes, they put that rage in us, and walk away...and there we are, a fool to that hot coal in our gut; but there are ways, and it's not "positive thinking"
Oh!Paul :) i like this read so much. You say it all almost in a whisper and yet the gentle words yell of an immense sadness and longing contained within it.I love the line,
and out there
in the abandoned night
leftover dreams search for dreamers.
