madness, hell

madness, hell

A Poem by paul

i know hunger
like air knows wind

I know the sky
is living a lie

I know the wind
is searching for something

I know madness
all too well

I know madness
I know hell

Damn fine rhyming. The feeling here is exhibited perfectly and I feel the need to sing this in a song, one upbeat due to frustration.

it's almost like the words line themselves up on the page, they know where they want to be

there is power in the word

I know madness all too well..you express well the lonely madness that afflicts us..yet few can express it the way you did.

Very strong poem

you shear these silences - darkness in thin slices - neatly stacked - in the matte corners of consciousness - this is someplace else - a red rimmed dark - someplace else!!!!

these blisters from madness
with those splinters from hell

the wind on a quest
in a sky full of lies

and the craving
buried in hunger

spiral out of your magic
and etch spells of poetry

you astonish and astound
because you are profound

yet, when you do step out of hell
remember to close the door behind you

i wouldn't wanna walk into something
that scares the hell out of me
