um... untitled?

um... untitled?

A Poem by paul
"

oh where oh where is my real muse ? probably in india or kentucky spying. on my new friends. and oh, if u see my muse, tell her she's fired, for lack of productivity. no severance pay.

"
these words are my defense
against nuclear bombs

my scream into this
too brief nite.

and just like it
accepts its short fate

i run
for the sun

I reach for the moon
I punch holes in the sky
like nighttime's swiss cheese

and this pen dances on
this page

pirohetting
like the lonely ballerina
trying trying trying
to say something
thats never been said

trying to bring the day and night together

. haha! ... ah, so it's your muse that's spying on emms and me ... and we couldn't for the life of us figure out why we were feeling so watched ... :D ... seriously though ... you nailed it with ...

to say something
thats never been said

... that's the most accurate, precise, authentic and beautiful definition of poetry that i have ever read ... as for titles ... i'd go with what emily said earlier ... (dear swaha: if you'd seen the arsenal of untitled art in paul's attic, you'd know) ... and here's a poem i wrote about your muse ... it's the best i've ever written ... it's very telling and very compelling ... it's called "anything can happen" ...

"anything can happen"

paul's muse -
went to india -
now, anything can happen ...

. and now ... coach ... if everyone in WC thinks i'm nuttts ... it's gonna be your fault ... :D ...

..i am glad you did not title this. Why do we cage our words into structures,titles,expectations...they are supposed to be like this, leaping, jumping randomly and above all free...

hells, yeah...getting that idea out, the perfect one...to align the stars, spin the planets, light the sun...we're all tryin!!

there is a moment, when day touches night and the sun and the moon peek . . . there is a moment and I can't imagine how beautiful it must really be if it could be glimpsed
