strange

strange

A Poem by paul

how strange to think
that there are angels waiting
in that heaven

and to think
the rain will stop

one storm followed by another

and to think
that my skin
is the only thing

separating me from
mass infinity

yes...the dreaded infinity...the party to which I am not invited...quite sad really...too bad vampires are as fictional as God...a strong write...tight...

. there'll be times when the rain doesn't stop ... and there'll be times when you need a second skin ... that's the bad part ... the good part is ... as long as you let these words flow ... we'll be waiting in the wings ... ha! ... i feel like i'm at an airport ... you're flying in and out ... and i'm a part of the ground crew ... so fun ... :) ...

seems to me you've got a whole lot to say, and you say it so well . . .

i think the 'mass infinity' is in there with you, but what do i know...as for 'one storm following another', you need to get a new weatherman...on top of all this, i like the way you say it

ah! and how strange that the strange stuff is often so true! you capture such profundity in such magnificent brevity! there is a universe unexplored, and yet, there are thoughts flung out there that resound! and someone's got to be listening!
