these horrors of last night

these horrors of last night

A Poem by paul

out here in the night
theres no way of telling
wrong from right
out here in the light
theres no way of telling
wrong from right
and memories don t deserve this much respect
like an airplane does
or a hammer.
out here in the night
like out here in the desert
you can t see
the next
words coming
all s  you can do is sit
like a catcher
and trust in physics
or don t even think about.
out here in the day.
these horrors of last night
evaporate

. memories are precious gems ... they enable time traveling ... and for time traveling one has to wear these humungous contraptions ... they are cumbersome ... they are annoying ... so are planes and hammers ... it's fun when they fly ... i am the sum total of what i can remember ... you must be too ... :) ...

physics is the real horror, maybe . . . or was that chemistry?
