to be a wave

to be a wave

A Poem by paul
"

the damned wind.... is why, I can never finish a poem.

"
to be a wave
who s traveled all the way to shore

just to be turned
away.

to be arocket ship
but you have to come home

to be a whisky bottle
with all your potential

emptied too briefly
Too be the victim
of the muse
just teasing
like the wind

.
. oh, paul ...

the poet writes
but it's a fight
against the wind
beyond momentum
the poet writes
with all his might
when the wind has sinned
like a pendulum
not a moment of relief
or words of belief
for the poet waiting for words
but the universe is still
and the sky never moves
only they can fly - the birds
the poet watches
humbled as he does
waiting and waiting
for an inspiration's buzz

I like the title of the poem, all the surroundings you have is amazing.

Well done

How do you write like this..i am amazed..seriously.You are in tune with your surroundings and that shows in your words.
to be a wave
who s traveled all the way to shore

just to be turned
away.
That phrase was exquisite.
