A Poem by paul

outside my window
i see
madness everywhere

the trees claustrophobic
in their stance

the trees wondering what walking
is like

the leaves wondering where
the wind goes

and all the while people
scheme, scam and scatter
just like
the leaves

. oh my gosh ... this poem sparkles even more today ... "scheme, scam and scatter" ... wow ... genius deployment ... and the trees wondering what walking is like is as profound as leaves wondering where the wind goes ... ah, that feeling of being lost ...

i didn't know where i was
i don't know where i am
i don't know where i'm headed
but i'm not the only one who doesn't know
noone, not even the universe, knows
if only we knew
even if for a few
magic would appear
without any fear

em
- ah!!! - sparkling more for sure - serah said it!! -

trace those star tails
and sear lit pathways on the
scared sky

someday
there will be footsteps
etched on light

until then
float

I wonder where the wind goes . . . and one clear, star-speckled night maybe I will scatter, too.

you make time stand still with this one - for one giant moment - and voices and thoughts surface - dormant until now - they scream themselves hoarse in a deadly, silent din - profound poem - stunning!
