Ah. The internal battle. I know this well. Nicely done in 3 lines! Angi~

Ah, yes. The power is in the brevity. My monster and your monster should get a beer.

it always amazes me to come back and visit only to find that you have grown to infinity and back again

you condense the thought into the purest distillation, and then condense it down again

A lot to grapple with in 3 lines. You hone and polish to the elliptical essentials.
I like Mr. Hart's take.
Thanks for sharing 'Mon'...could be 'Mon monstre' in French.

And the goodness in us keeps on fighting the evil that keeps on rearing itself over and over again...

goes to show how strong the human spirit can be in breaking free from the cage that the monster put us in. we all have monsters in us, and unless we're total sociopaths, we at least have consciences to keep ourselves in check. great job.

yes, there's a 'monster' in all of us...if we don't make it part of the 'team' and establish 'ground rules' then nothing changes...we are a unity, a self, a 'whole' that is larger than the sum of the parts...happy sailing
