A Chapter by paul

the madman sits on the couch
holding imaginary conversations.
words swirl around his mind.
days become nights, infinities
disappear, his small room holds
him. no concept of science or
space, only time and simple
minded madness.

"His small room holds him."
You have created such a wonderful sense of discord that I see the room as the only thing that gives him some sort of form.

In madness, we are truly at peace...because the madman doesn't know he is mad. The only people who question their own sanity are sane...rational..."Am I crazy?" Well, if you have to ask, then probably not. Good start. I'll read more.

~ the madman reminds me of me...
~ the madman also reminds me of the genius in simplicity...
~ his existence maybe spartan... but his mind is not... what a wealthy man...
